Thethi is a village in the Northern Albanian Alps, around 70 km from Shkodra town. The area is from 750 m till 2700 m above the sea level. The village is part of the National Park of Thethi, the home of many savage animals and different birds. Theth is surrounded by high mountains which are an open invitation to hikers. Alpinist Georg Heinshemer and Albanologist Franz Baron Nopcsa have mentioned Theth in their writing as a place worth to be visited. One of the most famous attractions is the waterfall of Theth.
